NIFT Faculty Recruitment 2022: National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) New Delhi invites online applications from eligible Indian Nationals for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Professor on a contract basis. The last date for registration of online applications is 31st January 2022.

Age Limit:

 40 years as of 31/01/2022. 

 Age Relaxation – 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC, and 10 years for PWD.

Pay Scale: Basic Pay ₹ 56,100/- plus other allowances as per Central Government.

Educational Qualification:

 Post Graduate Degree from recognized University/ Institute in any of the competencies with three years’ experience {including pre-qualification (post-UG degree) experience} in teaching or research or in the relevant industry in a recognized University/ Institution. (OR)
 Ph.D. from a recognized University/Institution in a subject relevant to any of the Competencies, with one year’s experience {including pre-qualification (post-UG degree) experience} in a recognized University/ Institution in teaching or research or in the relevant industry.

Selection Process:

 Comprehensive Test (Written Examination)
 Presentation/ Class Room Lecture/ Demonstration (30%)
 Interview

Application Fee:

 ₹ 1180/- for General / OBC category candidates.
 No fee for SC / ST / PWD / Women candidates and employees of NIFT.

How to Apply: Eligible Interested candidates are requested to apply online in the prescribed format available on NIFT Institute's Website. Uploading the self-attested copies of relevant certificates and testimonials in support of age, qualification, caste experience, etc. The last date for registration of online applications is 31/01/2022 up to 5:30 PM.

The Candidates after successfully submitting Online Application Forms are required to send the printout of the same along with self-attested online application form and other annexures/ documents as uploaded online in support of Qualification, Experience, Age, Caste, etc. to the Office of Registrar, Head Office, NIFT Campus, Hauz Khas, New Delhi - 110016 on or before by 15/02/2022. The envelope of the Application Form should be superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT PROCESSOR”
