IOCL Southern Region Recruitment 2022: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) invites online applications from eligible ITI and Diploma candidates for engagement of Trade/ Technician Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 / 1973/ 1992 (as amended from time to time) in the Trade/ Disciplines at IOCL-Southern Region (MD). The last date for registration of online applications is 27th December 2021.

Vacancy Status: Tamil Nadu & Puducherry, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.

Age Limit:

 Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as of 30.11.2021.
 Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST i.e. up to a max of 29 years, 3 years for OBC-NCL i.e. up to a max of 27 years, for the posts reserved for them). Candidates belonging to PwBD categories shall be given age relaxation up to 10 years (up to 15 years for SC/ST) and up to 13 years for OBC-NCL candidates.

Stipend: Rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month shall be as prescribed under Apprentices Act, 1961/ 1973/ Apprentices Rules 1992 and as amended from time to time.

Educational Qualification:

 Trade Apprentice (Fitter) –Matric with 2(Two) year ITI (Fitter) course.
 Trade Apprentice (Electrician) –Matric with 2(Two) year ITI (Electrician) course.
 Trade Apprentice (Electronic Mechanic) –Matric with 02 years ITI (Electronic Mechanic) course.
 Trade Apprentice (Instrument Mechanic): Matric with 02 years ITI (Instrument Mechanic) course.
 Trade Apprentice (Machinist): Matric with 02 years ITI (Machinist) course.
 Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): 03 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General and OBC & 45% in case of SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates for reserved positions from a recognized  Institute/University.
 Technician Apprentice (Electrical): 03 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General and OBC & 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates for reserved positions from a recognized Institute/University.
 Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation): 03 years Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering with
minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General and OBC & 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates for reserved positions from a recognized Institute/University.
 Technician Apprentice (Civil): 03 years Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General and OBC & 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates for reserved positions from a recognized Institute/University.
 Technician Apprentice (Electrical & Electronics): 03 years Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General and OBC & 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates for reserved positions from a recognized Institute/ University.
 Technician Apprentice (Electronics): 03 years Diploma in Electronics Engineering with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General and OBC & 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates for reserved positions from a recognized Institute/ University.
 Trade Apprentice (Accountant) - Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General and OBC & 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates for reserved positions from a recognized Institute/University.
 Trade Apprentice - Data Entry Operator (Fresher): Minimum 12th Pass (but below Graduate).
 Trade Apprentice - Data Entry Operator (Skilled Certificate Holders): Minimum 12th Pass (but below Graduate). Additionally, candidates should possess a Skill Certificate of ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ for the training of less than one year issued by an awarding body recognized under the National Skill Qualifications Framework or any other authority recognized by the Central Government.
 Trade Apprentice-Retail Sales Associate (Fresher): Minimum 12th Pass (but below Graduate).
 Trade Apprentice-Retail Sales Associate (Skilled Certificate Holders): Minimum 12th Pass (but below Graduate). Additionally, candidates should possess a Skill Certificate of ‘Retail Trainee Associate’ for the training of less than one year issued by an
awarding body recognized under the National Skill Qualifications Framework or any other authority recognized by the Central Government.

Selection Process:

 Written Test - Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ’s)

Application Fee:

 ₹ 100/- for each post.
 No fee for SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Women/ CSIR Employees is exempted from payment of application fee.
 The fee can be made through the Online payment mode.
