 PGT / Counselor: 21 to 40 years

 TGT / PEM / PTI Cum Matron: 21 to 35 years

 Band Master: 21 to 50 years

 Ward Boys: 18 to 50 years

Scale of Pay:

 PGT: Level-8, ₹ 47600 - 151100/- (Pre Revised PB-2, ₹ 9300 - 34800 + GP ₹ 4800/-)

 TGT: Level-7, ₹ 44900 - 142400/- (Pre Revised PB-2, ₹ 9300 - 34800 + GP ₹ 4600/-)

 Counselor / PEM / PTI cum Matron: ₹ 25,000/- per month (Consolidated)

 Band Master: ₹ 25,000/- per month (Consolidated)

 Ward Boys: ₹ 18,000/- per month (Consolidated)

Educational Qualifications:

 Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): Master's Degree with at least 50% marks in relevant subject/discipline (OR) 02 years Integrated Post Graduate course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in relevant subjects with minimum 50% marks. B.Ed. or equivalent degree. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English Medium.

 Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): A Bachelor's Degree in relevant subjects (OR) 04 years Integrated degree course in relevant subjects from Regional College of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks in aggregate. B.E. or equivalent degree. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English Medium.

 Band Master: Potential Band Master / Band Major / Drum Major Course at the AEC Training and Centre, Pachmarhi or equivalent Naval / Air Force Courses.

 Counselor: Graduate / Post Graduate in Psychology or Post Graduate in Child Development or Graduate / Post Graduate with Diploma in Counseling, with at least 50% marks.

 PEM / PTI Cum Matron (Female): 04 years B.P.Ed. Degree Course (OR) 03 years Graduate degree + 01-year B.P.Ed Diploma (OR) B.Sc. degree in Physical Education / Health Education & Sports + 01-year B.P.Ed Diploma.

 Ward Boys: Matriculation / 10th Class Pass.

Application Fee: Application must accompany an Account Payee DD of Rs.500/- (Non-refundable) from any bank payable at Nagrota and drawn in favor of Principal Sainik School Nagrota J&K. Alternatively, the fee may be deposited in the School’s Bank Account No. 11344228242, State Bank of India, Kandoli Nagrota Jammu Branch, IFSC Code SBIN0003938. Proof of the fee paid is, invariably, to be attached with the application form for verification.

Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Test / Interview.
