West Bengal Postal Circle Recruitment 2021-2022: Department of Posts India, West Bengal Postal Circle, Kolkata invites applications from eligible Indian Nationals for recruitment of Meritorious Sports Persons in the Cadre of Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant, Postman and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) in West Bengal Postal Circle. The last date for submission of online applications is 24th December 2021.

Age Limit: (As of 24/12/2021)

 Between 18 - 27 years
 Age Relaxation – 03 years for OBC, 05 years for SC / ST.

Pay Scale:

 Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant: Pay Level 4 ₹ 25500 - 81100/- plus admissible allowances.
 Postman: Pay Level 3 ₹ 21700 - 69100/- plus admissible allowances.

Educational Qualifications:

 Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant: Matric with 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized university or Board of School Education or Board of Secondary Education. The candidates will be required to furnish at least 60 days duration basic computer training certificate from a recognized Computer Training Institute before issuance of the appointment letter. If candidates studied basic computer knowledge in Class XII or Higher education qualification, a separate computer certificate is not required.

 Postman: The candidate must have passed 12th Standard from a recognized Board of School Education or Board of Secondary Education. The candidate will be required to furnish a certificate of Basic Computer Training from a recognized Computer Training Institute before issuance of the appointment letter. Knowledge of Local Language.

Sports Qualifications:

 Sportsmen who have represented a State or the country in the National or International competition in any of the required games/ sports.
 Sportsmen who have represented their University in the Inter-University Tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board in any of the required games/sports.
 Sportsmen who have represented the State Schools Teams in the National Sports/ Games for Schools conducted by the All India School Games Federations in any of the required games/ sports.
 Sportsmen who have been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under the National Physical Efficiency Drive.

Selection Process: Selection on the basis of Educational and Sports Qualification.

Application Fee:

 ₹ 100/- through e-payment (using Challan Form) in the name of CPMG WB Circle Sports (National E-BILLER ID No. 0000070146) at any of the computerized Post Offices in India.
 No fee for SC, ST, Women category candidates.
