Southern Railway Sports Quota Recruitment 2021-22 Open advertisement has been published in Employment News Paper dated 30th October 2021 Issue. Ministry of Railways, Southern Railway, Chennai invites applications from eligible Sports Persons for recruitment of Level 2 to 5 vacancy posts against Sports Quota for the year 2021-2022 in various Games / Events. The Last date for submission of applications is 30th November 2021

SOUTHERN RAILWAY RECRUITMENT AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA (OPEN ADVERTISEMENT) FOR THE YEAR 2021-22

Vacancy Posts:

 Level 4 & 5: 05 Posts
 Level 2 & 3: 16 Posts

Age Limit: 18 to 25 Years. Age Relaxation as per Rules.

Pay Scale: Level 2 to Level 5 in the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.

Minimum Sports Norms Eligibility:

 Level-4 & 5: Represented the Country in Olympic Games (Category- 'A') (OR) At least 3rd position in any of the Category - B' Championships/events.

 Level-2 & 3: Represented the Country in any of the Category – ‘B' Championships/ events. (OR) At least 3rd position in any of the Category-'C Championships/events (OR) At least 3rd position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships (OR) At least 3rd Position in National Games organized under the aegis of Indian Olympic Association. (OR) At least 3rd Position in All India Inter-University Championships organized under the Aegis of Association of Indian Universities (OR) First position in Federation Cup Championship (Senior Category).

Educational Qualification:

 For Posts in Level 2 & 3: Matriculation with 12th Class Pass (+2 Stage).
 For Posts in Level 4 & 5: Graduation (Bachelor's Degree).

Application Fee:

 ₹ 500/- for General / OBC category candidates.
 ₹ 250/- for SC / ST / Women / Ex-servicemen / PwD / candidates belonging to Minority.
 The fee in the form of Demand Draft (DD) was drawn in favor of "The Assistant Personnel Officer/ Railway Recruitment Cell, Chennai" payable Chennai.

How to Apply: Application in the prescribed format. Complete in all respects along with all the enclosures should be sent to "The Assistant Personnel Officer, Railway Recruitment Cell, Southern Railway, 3rd Floor, No 5 Dr. P.V. Cherian Crescent Road, Egmore, Chennai - 600008". The postal cover envelope superscribed "APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA (OPEN ADVERTISEMENT) FOR THE YEAR 2021-22". The closing date for receipt of the application is 30/11/2021 at 5:00 PM. However, for Far-flung area candidates, the last date will be on 15/12/2021.
