UPSC Advertisement No. 16/2021: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites online recruitment applications for recruitment of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Joint Assistant Director, Deputy Director, and Senior Assistant Controller of Mines. The last date for submission of applications is 2nd December 2021.

Age Limit:

 Professor: 53 years
 Associate Professor: 50 years
 Assistant Professor: 35 years
 Joint Assistant Director: 30 years
 Deputy Director: 40 years
 Senior Assistant: 40 years

Pay Scale:

 Professor: Academic Level 14
 Associate Professor: Academic Level 13A1
 Assistant Professor: Academic Level 10
 Joint Assistant Director: Level 08
 Deputy Director: Level 11
 Senior Assistant: Level 11

Educational Qualification:

 Professor: Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology and Master of Engineering or Master of Technology with 1st class or equivalent. Minimum 05 years teaching or research experience.

 Associate Professor: A Ph.D. Degree with First class at Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and experience of ten years in teaching, research, and/or industry, out of which at least five years at the level of Assistant Professor/Reader or equivalent grade.

 Assistant Professor: Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology and Master of Engineering or Master of Technology from a recognized University or Institute, with First Class or Equivalent either in Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology or Master of Engineering or Master of Technology in Computer Engineering/Information Technology Engineering.

 Joint Assistant Director:  B.Tech or B.E. or B.Sc. (Engr) degree in Electronics or Electronics and Telecommunication or Electronics and Communication or Information Technology or Computer Science or Information and Communication Technology or Electrical Engineering with Telecommunication as a special subject from a recognized University or Institute OR Master degree in Electronics or Computer Science or Information Technology or Artificial Intelligence or Physics with Electronics or Communication or Wireless or Radio subjects as specialization.

 Deputy Director: Master’s degree in Economics or Statistics or Mathematics or Commerce or Psychology or Sociology or Social Work or Public Administration or Business Administration. Minimum 05 years experience.

 Senior Assistant: Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Mining Engineering (OR) Master of Engineering or Technology in Mining Engineering. Minimum 05 years experience.
Selection Process:

 Interview
 Recruitment Test (RT) followed by an interview.

Application Fee:

 Rs. 25/- only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using the net banking facility of the SBI or by using a visa/ master credit/ debit card.
 No fee for SC / ST / PwBD / Women candidates.
